Karel Vereycken selected « Signature Artist » in « Artist of the Year » contest
On Feb. 12, 2026, Franco belgian painter engraver and historian Karel Vereycken was selected « Signature Artist » by the Circle Foundation for the Arts, in recognition for his « artwork’s exceptional aesthetic quality, originality, and technical mastery » among « outsanding works across all fine art categories in the 7th International CFA Artist of the Year competition hosted by Circle Arts.«
Karel Vereycken granted Finalist Award in ARTAVITA Artist of the Year Contest
On Jan. 7, 2026, ARTAVITA granted the Franco-Belgian painter engraver Karel Vereycken a Finalist Certificate « for artwork submitted and distinguised in the 76th Artavita Online Art Contest competing for the Artavita Artist of the Year 2025 Contest.«
Designed by artists for artists, ARTAVITA, based in Santa Barbara, CA, is a free online gallery and considered an innovative platform.

Karel Vereycken wins Talent Prize Award for « 13th Open » art contest
On Oct. 21, 2025, painter-engraver Karel Vereycken got the following notification from the Los Angeles-based global online art gallery and platform for artists TERAVARNA:

Karel’s color engraving « Farmers of Sudan », for which the prize was awarded, is currently on display at the exhibition « Estampes d’automne » at the Bo Halbirk engraving workshop in Montreuil where it can be seen till december 12, 2025.
