Karel Vereycken selected for 100 Watercolour Artists of Europe 2026

In August 2026, Franco-Belgian Painter engraver Karel Vereycken was informed that Culturale Lab, a major platform, selected his work, in particular his recent watercolor Minerva, goddess of Peace, to be included in « 100 Watercolour Artists of Europe – 2026 », to come out and reach the bookstores at the end of this year.
This curated volume, says Culturale Lab, is « a physical printed watercolour collection book, that brings together and celebrates the talent of 100 watercolour artists shaping contemporary watercolour across Europe. »
« Watercolour is one of the oldest and most beloved of media — luminous, immediate and unforgiving — yet it is too rarely celebrated in print on its own terms. « 100 Watercolour Artists of Europe 2026″ puts it at the centre: one hundred voices, styles and stories, gathered in a single, beautiful volume that will endure over time. »
Karel Vereycken’s work featured in giant World Art Collection book

Karel Vereycken’s artwork will be included in the « World Art Collection« , an incredible international project by Culturale Lab that brings together more than 5,000 artists from every corner of the globe, creating a monumental publication that celebrates creativity in all its forms.
This is to become the biggest art project book ever created, connecting artists, galleries, and art lovers worldwide. It will appear in the autumn of 2026.
