Portement de Croix: redécouvrir Bruegel grâce au livre de Michael Gibson
L’auteur du livre que nous présentons ici, Michael Gibson, était critique d’art à l’International Herald Tribune et a écrit plusieurs monographies de peintres dont une sur Bruegel (Nouvelles Editions françaises, Paris 1980).
En septembre 1999, Michael Gibson nous a reçu chez lui pour nous accorder un entretien qui résume son point de vue original.
Peu avant sa disparition précoce en juin 2017, Michael a participé au script du film Bruegel, le moulin et la croix.
